For Your Consideration: What I've Done For Those I Love # 1225
Don't say I never did anything for anybody! Here are some pictures of the Christmas gifts I sent the twins I used to care for. Lots of clothes, socks, underwear, shoes, boots, hair accessories, DVDs and CDs. I spent all year hitting the sale sections of different kids' stores to amass this collection without going broke. Most kids aren't very excited to receive gifts of clothing. I can promise you that Ginger and Andrea aren't like most kids. They love new clothes, clean clothes, pink clothes. The last time I saw Ginger she asked me to bring her "skirts, boots and a crown." I included the skirts and boots. The princess crowns and fairy wands are forthcoming.

Elvis: I don't like this show. Change it back to American Apocalypse on CNBC.
Courtney: American Apocalypse? OK, but I think you mean American Greed.
Elvis: Same difference.

I am not a great writer, but Bertrand Russell most certainly is
I am not a great writer. An acceptable writer on a lucky day, maybe. A good writer every once in a long while. But great? Not yet. I aspire to greatness, but I don't believed that my words could do justice to the mysteries or the complexities of life. So I look to others to articulate precisely the thoughts and prayers to which I cannot properly give voice.
What follows is a quote by Bertrand Russell. Bravo, Bertrand! I could not have said it better myself.
Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a deep ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair.
